Adam Uren is an absolutely fantastic and passionate teacher! He explained the small principles behind espresso-making in such a detailed and approachable way, which was incredibly helpful for a complete beginner like me to understand why each step matters.
During the session, we were lucky enough to get the perfect extraction time after adjusting the grinder just once (though honestly, that definitely wouldn’t have happened without Adam’s patient guidance and teaching 😂). I genuinely feel like I learned so much — not only practical espresso-making techniques, but also the focus and patience needed to complete the entire coffee-making process properly.
I would 100% recommend this course to everyone, especially complete beginners. You’ll absolutely get a lot out of it! We also tasted many different espresso shots in different conditions, which made the learning experience even clearer and more interesting.
Overall, the whole class was extremely well-structured and easy to follow. Adam is especially good at using analogies and simple explanations that make concepts click instantly. I’m so glad I joined this course!
